The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. /San Luis Walk-In Clinic, Inc. Behavioral Health Services will be located at 115 Columbia Avenue, in Somerton, Arizona
This Award recognizes a program within a community, at the local or state level, that involves one or more health professionals or entities, and promotes or facilitates the development of rural health delivery systems
Families and friends of the new Health professionals joined together at the Yuma Civic Center to celebrate the 2015 Summer Graduation as Ms. Amanda Aguirre, President and CEO of the RCBH congratulated them on their decision to be a part of the Arizona workforce on the growing Health professions field
“I honestly thought this was going to be a way to spend my time and have fun during the summer, but as the program went on it opened my eyes on careers options and most of all I learned how to interact with people, which is a simple thing that really opens the doors to so many opportunities in life”, said San Luis High School senior Joshua Espinoza, 17.
For Sergio Bueno, age 9, “the Asthma Camp was so cool because I got to learn how to manage my breathing; and I played soccer and I had much fun with my new friends”
