Yuma, AZ – (August 12, 2020).- The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc., San Luis Walk-In Clinic, Inc. is inviting the families in the San Luis area to celebrate the National Immunization Awareness Month, with a Children Immunization Campaign from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21, 2020.
According to Ms. Amanda Aguirre, former State of Arizona Senator, and current President and CEO of the non-profit organization based in Yuma County, the National Immunization Awareness Month is an annual campaign created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“The purpose is to highlight the importance of vaccination for people of all ages,” said Ms. Aguirre, “and most importantly we would like to make sure our children get all the vaccines they need in order to be protected and prepared when schools are ready to have them back in classrooms, this way they come back safer.”
The Children Immunization Campaign will be held from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21, 2020 from 7:30 to 11:00 am, at San Luis Walk-In Clinic, Inc., located at 1986 East Babbitt Lane, in San Luis, Arizona, where all the necessary precautions will be taken, such as social distancing and face masks.
Also, the first 100 children will receive a free backpack, every day.
