RCBH invites the community to the 18th Annual Celebration of Life event

The Celebration of Life event is organized by the RCBH in support to the Yuma County Breast and Cervical Coalition, which helps decrease the likelihood of mortality for cancer survivors in Yuma County, by raising money through several events

Yuma, AZ.- The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc., proudly invites Yuma County residents to the 18th Annual Celebration of Life Event on Friday October the 2nd, 2015 from 2:00 to 4;00 PM at the Yuma Civic Center.

The Celebration of Life event is organized by the RCBH in support to the Yuma County Breast and Cervical Coalition, which helps decrease the likelihood of mortality for cancer survivors in Yuma County, by raising money through several events, through event sponsorships, and ticket sales.

This year the Celebration of Life event will feature cancer survivor and Renowned National Motivational Speaker Doug Dvorak, from Chicago, who will share his own experience. After being diagnosed with skin cancer in May of 1998, Dvorak fortunately survived and for the last fifteen years has been at the forefront of health, humor & motivational speaking.

According to the website www.dougdvorak.com, “Doug’s words are stirring and encouraging. He speaks with clarity and purpose but he also delights with his famous humorous touch. Doug understands laughter is a gift too often missing– whether in healing or hospice, it is always therapeutic.”

Doug Dvorak is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) earning this Professional designation through the National Speakers Association (NSA).

The public is invited to come and enjoy this motivational message by attending the 18th Annual Celebration of Life event. Tickets are at 25 dollars per person, and can be purchased by calling (928) 627-9222.

The Yuma Civic Center is located at the 1440 Desert Hills Drive, in Yuma, Arizona.
