RCBH Supports BRAG, Inc. in their mission to fight Bullying in Yuma County

BRAG, Inc. is an important part the Yuma County Anti-Bullying and Against Violence Task Force the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. created in 2008, as an effort to raise awareness regarding such a sensitive and difficult issue in the Yuma area communities

In order to support them with their continuous mission of transforming lives of students who had struggled with Bullying in their past, the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. (RCBH) presented a 2,000 dollars donation to the Bully Rehab Awareness Gym, Inc. (BRAG, Inc.).

Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. President and CEO Ms. Amanda Aguirre presented a check to Mr. Carlos Flores, CEO for BRAG, and to Mr. Kenrick Escalanti, Chief Operations Officer for BRAG, during a ceremony that took place today Wednesday November 18th, 2015  at RCBH Headquarters in Somerton.

"We are so humbled by the ongoing commitment and support from Amanda Aguirre and her organization Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. Her continued support helps us maintain our goals for our initiative in curbing the epidemic of Bullying in our community," expressed Mr. Flores a Mixed Martial Arts Professional Fighter.

Mr. Escalanti added; “We receive tons of gratitude from what we do at the Bully Rehab Awareness Gym but in realty we are just one small piece of the solution. The true gratitude belongs to the Yuma Community from local businesses, parents, educators, mentors, and Organization's like Ms. Aguirre's who have joined our cause and have pledged their support through contributions that keep our doors open and utilities paid. It's this relationship with our community that will help educate and slow down Bullying in Yuma and the surrounding areas."

“We are glad to support BRAG, Inc. since they are an important part the Yuma County Anti-Bullying and Against Violence Task Force the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. created in 2008, as an effort to raise awareness regarding such a sensitive and difficult issue in our communities that we serve,” stated Ms. Aguirre.

Law enforcement officers, school and Municipal and County wide level representatives conforms the task force and work very close to the RCBH in receiving Bullying related reports monitored through the website www.rcfbh.org/TIPS.

A 501c (3) non-profit organization, BRAG, Inc. has the mission to empower victims (children) of dominance behavior (bullying) to be resilient and respectful through the art of the gentle way, while healing and understanding the offender.
