Yuma, AZ. – The Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. and the Binational Health and Environment Council Yuma County, AZ./San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora are inviting Health professionals from both sides of the border to attend the 20th Annual Binational Tuberculosis Symposium, to be held on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017.
According to Ms. Amanda Aguirre, President and CEO of RCBH, the event will address the theme “Epidemiological Status of Tuberculosis in the Border.”
The event is going to take place at the Yuma Civic Center, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a program which will include presentations from Health field of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora and Yuma County, Arizona.
The event is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Yuma County Health Services District, the Arizona Department of Health Services, the US-Mexico Border Health Commission, and the Government of Sonora, Mexico though the Health Ministry of Sonora.
