Raymond P. Kronenbitter, MSN, RN, PCCN
Chair
 
Transferring to Yuma in 1992 with the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Kronenbitter retired from the Marines in 1996 and began his nursing education locally at AWC. His undergraduate and graduate degrees in the Science of Nursing were earned through Northern Arizona University of Yuma. Mr. Kronenbitter has worked as a Registered Nurse with the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Nursing Department at Yuma Regional Medical Center for the last eleven years, and has been active member of the Arizona Nurses Association. He is currently the Director of Governmental Affairs with the Association.


Christi L. Brito, RN, BSN, MSN
Vice Chair
 

Born and raised in Roswell , New Mexico, Ms. Brito has considered Yuma her home since 2000.  She fell in love with the warm climate and people and moved 5 generations to Yuma by 2001. Ms. Brito hold a Masters of Science in Nursing and has a background in grassroots community health from her days in New Mexico . She currently works at Yuma Regional Medical Center as the Clinical Nurse Expert in the Intensive Care Unit. She also teaches Bachelors and Masters level nursing courses online for University of Phoenix . She is active in several professional organizations and most recently served as President for the Rio Colorado Chapter 7 Nursing Association.



Cliff O'Neill
Treasurer / Secretary
  Originally moving to the small town of Bouse, AZ in 1976, Mr. O'Neill has lived and worked in the Yuma area for the last eleven years as an employee of the City of Somerton. He has a Masters in Public Administration from Arizona State University and been active in the Somerton Rotary Club for several years.


Tracy Nolan Atchley
  Born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. Attended the Crane Schools and graduated from Yuma High School. Also attended Arizona Western College. Recently retired from Arizona Public Service, Yucca Power Plant, after 37 years. While children were in school was active in the Yuma High School Choralair Parent Club. Has been active with 4-H for the past 36 years as a project leader and Community Club Leader.
Fabiana Bowles, RN, MSN
 

Born and raised in Yuma, AZ. After obtaining C.N.A. Certification at AWC summer program, and knowing she had to make the right choice, she continued attending AWC full time as well as work nights, while raising a young daughter and starting a family. Ms. Bowles obtained licensure as an LPN in 1998, Associate Degree in Nursing in 1999. She worked as an RN for several years in Palmview where obtained her 1st job as a C.N.A., as well as Life Care until realizing her long time goal of being a Labor and Delivery nurse. She started at YRMC in 2003 at the Labor & Delivery Unit, where continued her education through the University of Phoenix, pursuing and obtaining BSN (2005) and MSN (2006). In 2005 she started teaching nursing at AWC, now a fulltime faculty member with a focus in labor & delivery nursing since 2007. She still continues at YRMC.

Charis Meyer
 

Born and raised in Colombia, South America. Came to the United States in 1993, and moved to Yuma in 1994. She is an Artist and teacher of oil painting on canvas and china painting. She has been painting for 30 years. Charis is married and have a daughter and grand daughter that also live in Yuma. She have served on the board of the RCBN and SLWC for 12 years. While working at Planned Parenthood she was first involved with RCFBH as office assistant and later managed the Well Women’s Health check program. After retired in 2003, She continued to serve on the board.
